Biography

Diane M. Kirkland – Atlanta, Georgia

Diane’s images have appeared in numerous advertising        campaigns, promotional brochures, websites and national and international publications including Southern Living, Time Magazine, USA Today, Lenswork Magazine, and the London Times.  She has also been the photographer for two large coffee table books:  “Oglethorpe’s Dream, A Picture of Georgia” (2001), and “Democracy Restored, A History of the Georgia Capitol” (2007).

The Georgia Council for the Arts selected Diane to join their 2007 – 2008 Touring Artist Rosters and she was also invited to join the Southern Arts Federation (www.SouthernArtistry.org).  In addition, Diane is the recipient of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources 2008 Artist in Residence Grant.
